A bicyclist was killed early yesterday morning in a collision near the University of Portland campus.

According to investigators, the cyclist Kipp Daniel Crawford, 31, was already in the roadway near North Willamette Boulevard and North Haven Street when he was struck by two vehicles shortly after 2 a.m.

A Portland Police Bureau statement said both drivers were on the scene and interviewed by officers. Police identified the driver of the Cadillac, which hit Crawford, as Carlos Tyrone McCall, 41. The driver of the other car, an Isuzu SUV, was identified as 44-year-old Felisa Washington-Berry.

Police arrested both drivers, charging them with driving under the influence.

The police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Officer Peter Kurronen at 503-823-2208.
