Beginning the last week of September, Pacific students and faculty will have to switch from the current MyMail e-mail system to the new BoxerMail arrangement through Google's Gmail service.
The motive for the switch is simple, "Google offers services we were unable to provide," said Ted Krupricka, Assistant Vice President of University Information Services.

Mariel Zagunis, who hails from Beaverton, Ore. and is the daughter of two Olympic rowers, is the most decorated fencer in U.S. fencing histoty.
In 2008, Zagunis was the first American to take gold in Beijing, her second career gold medal after the 2004 Olympic games in Athens.

Pacific handball has had good seasons during its 30-year history, but their second place finish at the 58th National Collegiate Handball Tournament in Houston, TX, crowned what coach Mike Steele called his most successful team ever.
"We had a better chance of holding our own from last year," said Steele.
